Tenant Liaison Advisor - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Tenant Liaison Advisor – 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

Based: Home-based, with regular travel to sites across the East Midlands, and regular attendance at our head office in Coalville Leicestershire.

Hours: 35 hours per week, working Monday to Friday.

Salary: £26,524 - £29,471 per annum

The role

Following a successful funding grant, we have an exciting opportunity for Tenant Liaison Advisor to join our Planned Works team on a fixed term basis for 18 months.

As a Tenant Liaison Advisor, you will be responsible for liaising with our customers to assist the onsite delivery of emh homes Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Planned Works Programme. You will act as a liaison between our customers, contractors, and emh colleagues, answering any questions and addressing any concerns that the customer may have.

The ideal candidate

You will be customer-focused, a good communicator, and have excellent interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will be able to build rapport with customers and contractors, ensuring their engagement and create a positive relationship that minimises operational issues and complaints. You will have experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads, also experience of producing quality compliance and statistical information.

As a Tenant Liaison Advisor, you will regularly be traveling to sites across the East Midlands, and will need to regularly attend our head office, so the ability to travel is essential. Emh endeavours to offer opportunities to work flexibly and from home, where the business need allows.

The role

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team providing support and intensive housing management services to residents living with us in our dispersed temporary accommodation within Leicester City.

This is an incredibly rewarding role supporting people who have found themselves without accommodation and helping them to move on in their accommodation journey.

The ideal candidate

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills to be able to provide advice, support and intensive housing management services for our residents.

You will be required to work flexibly in accommodation based and community settings due to the demand of the role and will work as part of a Specialist Housing Team.

This includes working in a diverse & sensitive service to enable the residents maximise their independence, maintain their accommodation, and seek and secure appropriate move on accommodation.

The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of working with vulnerable people / or be committed to personal development within the workplace and be willing to work towards qualifications.

Good communication skills are essential as well as the ability to deal with possible difficult situations. You will have excellent knowledge of Housing and support related work and be flexible to client’s needs. You will be a people person who can work well on your own initiative.

You will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check for this role, which we will complete for the successful candidate. As the role is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offender’s Act 1974, please can you ensure you detail both spent and unspent convictions on your application form.
