Activities Organiser

The role

We are now recruiting Activities Organiser roles for our services in the Derbyshire Dales, based in Matlock and Bakewell, helping us provide high standards of care and support for service users with a learning disability and/ or autism, in line with care and support plans and the organisation’s policies and procedures.

The Activities Organiser role will involve facilitating/ supporting a wide range of activities and experiences with people, promoting individual rights and personal dignity, while providing people with every opportunity for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual development.

Applicants will be able to work 30 hours per week, between 8.30 am and 4pm weekdays.

The ideal candidate

The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with good administrative and organisational skills. Experience in providing practical support and training to people and experience working with adults with learning difficulties and/or autism would be advantageous. But most of all we want to hear from people that a curious about people and want to help connect them with the things they love doing.

TA knowledge and awareness of equal opportunities and the need to maintain a high level of confidentiality are essential.

The role

We are now seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to provide high standards of care and support in a professional manner for service users.

Within this role you will be required to:

  • Work in line with care and support plans and be compliant with CQC, Derbyshire County Council and Clinical Commissioning Group Regulations and emh care and support policies and procedures. Adhere to all NMC guidelines and implement them within the home, to maintain and improve professional knowledge in line of revalidation.
  • Be responsible for the assessment of service user’s needs, development, implementation and evaluation of care plans as a named nurse.
  • Take lead of a shift prioritising yours and others work loads, monitoring the progress of support workers through supervisions.
  • Work in a dignified person centred manner respecting service user’s rights.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of: CQC requirements, policies and procedures, contemporary research and evidence based practice, safeguarding both adults & children and Infection prevention & control compliance.

The Staff Nurse will:

  • Have the ability to manage their workload, implement change and promote team working and manage potential conflict.
  • Have an awareness of Equal Opportunities when supporting people with learning disabilities and have an understanding of the Mental Capacity Act
  • Be prepared to work flexibly on a rota basis including evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and waking nights.

As a Home Support Worker you will provide high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans, compliance with CQC regulations and the organisation’s policies and procedures.

You will also provide care and support for service users, encouraging them to do as much as possible for themselves in order to develop and maintain their independence and physical ability. Whilst also ensuring a healthy, safe and clean environment for service users in their home and encouraging their involvement in achieving this.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Consultant to join the Sales team. You will be responsible for securing sales on all Home Ownership initiatives within specified budgets, timescales and in accordance with Homes England Capital Funding Guide.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of Shared Ownership Initiatives preferably within a Housing Association or in a property field. You will also have experience of dealing with solicitors and legal firms for the conveyance process.

You will also be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and have experience / knowledge of the housing market.

A positive attitude to work related problems is essential to this role.

The post will be home based – The ideal candidate will have the flexibility and willingness to work from the office and home as required and have the ability to work under their own initiative
