Providing care and support

Helping to eliminate social exclusion is one of our key priorities.

Our specialist business, emh care & support, provides a range of support services to customers with varying needs and has a long history of supporting people with learning difficulties.

Today, we provide housing, support and care for over 350 adults in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.

This includes:

  • day care
  • a single point from which to learn new skills and access suitable housing
  • 24-hour specialist support from trained professionals
  • support for residents with a learning difficulty or a physical disability, or both

We also provide care and support to other vulnerable members of the community with sheltered and supported housing and a 24-hour alarm service.

Our portfolio includes specially adaptated homes so that tenants with a disability or long-term illness remain independent at home for longer. Residents may also request an adaptation.

Young parents, homeless people and victims of domestic abuse regularly access our specialist housing and related services.
