Financial information

In 2016-2017 our turnover was £101.3m, a 2.6% growth on the previous year.

As the leading provider of affordable housing and support services in the East Midlands, we are committed to growth in order to meet critical demand for affordable quality homes in the region.

A strong operational performance and efficiency has resulted in robust financial health, despite economically challenging times.

Financial strength

We are well placed to respond proactively to the changing environment and to make the most of new business and improvement opportunities.

From a position of strength, we aim to:

  • deliver 2000 new homes over 5 years
  • create increased opportunities for partnerships
  • achieve greater efficiencies
  • maximise revenues
  • enhance our position within the sector as as a key contributor to national policy issues

We were pleased that our financial strength was reaffirmed with a A+ (Stable) credit rating from Standard and Poor's in January 2018. This rating keeps us on a par with many of our top-performing peers, and above many leading commercial companies.

Bond issue

Our rating has enabled us to raise £200 million in the capital markets through a public bond issue. This cash injection will help us to build 300 new homes every year for the next 5 years.
